I was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Both my parents and four eldest siblings were born in the Philippines. My older brother, Alex, and I were the only two born in North America. My father is a retired contractor and my mother is a retired administrative assistant. Ever since I was a child, I always had a lot of pets. My parents would feed the stray animals along with our own pets. In my home, we were taught compassionate love for all living creatures. Today, my husband and I have two sweet rescue dogs named Penny and Madeline. On a beautiful day, you’ll find us enjoying a ride on our motorcycles along the coast. I am blessed to receive lots of love and support from my family members mentioned above and the very large extended family that I have as well.
Regarding my training as an actor, I worked with a multitude of teachers including Toronto acting coach, Cindy Tanas. While living in California, I trained at Second City Hollywood and my most extensive studies were at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio in Los Angeles. In regard to directing and writing, I studied Radio & Television at Ryerson University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree. I have lived a colorful life thus far and maybe one day I’ll write a book about my adventures. For now, they are great experiences to draw from as an artist. To be your true self requires you to love, value and respect yourself.
